Ministry update for 2024

2024 Ministry Update

January 10, 2025

Dear Praying Friends,

Psalm 9:1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. KJB

As I send out these letters to update our praying friends on our ministry, I do so with the intent to truly praise God for all HIS marvelous works! We are excited and honored to be used by God in any way at all and we are humbled to be considered worthy to be His servants.

This past year, God has been so good to us! God allowed us to once again be in over 70 meetings (73 to be exact)- including 10 new churches for us, to drive nearly 45,000 miles, to preach in many revivals, King James Bible conferences, teen rally’s, special Sundays, and 5 Vacation Bible Schools. I was also able to help remodel/build 5 platforms, 16 pieces of furniture for churches (pulpits, tables, tract racks, etc.), to work on several parsonages and buildings- installing doors, windows, decks, and many other small projects. I love getting to use the talents that God has given me to try to be a blessing and encouragement to God’s people. Through all of this, God allowed us to be a part of over 500 souls accepting God’s free gift of eternal life! We are now in our 12th year of evangelism, and we love that we get to see folks serving at churches, folks that we have been able to reach through this ministry.

Thank you all for praying for us and supporting us as we travel in the ministry that God has given us to serve Him through! Please continue to pray for our health and safety as we travel, and for our needs to be met. Please pray for Lilly, she will be graduating high school in May and then preparing to attend Bible college in the fall, so also pray for us as Lilly will be travelling less with us and will be greatly missed! We truly do serve a great God!

January – April 2024 Ministry Update

May 7, 2024

Dear Praying Friends,

I am trying to send out ministry update letters more often! I wanted to send a quick recap of what God has done in January through April of this year so far.

This year started out extremely busy and we are so thankful that God is willing to use us. The first four months of 2024 God has already allowed us to be in 10 different states, 24 different meetings, driving nearly 14,000 miles, and through personal soul-winning and the preaching of God’s Word, we have seen over 100 souls trust Christ as their Saviour!!!  I had the honor of preaching at a church in Georgia, and when I gave the invitation to respond to the message, a 21-year-old young man came almost running to the altar and said, “I want to know Jesus!” He was gloriously saved after being shown the wonderful Gospel of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, from the Word of God! We are so thankful for each of you and pray for you each and every week. Thank you for your faithfulness to Christ and to reaching others for Him.

Thank you all for praying for us and supporting us as we travel in the ministry that God has given us to serve Him through! We truly do serve a great God!

January 5, 2020

Dear Praying Friends,
I find it hard to believe that it is already that time of year to send out the year end ministry report!  What a great year that we have had. We are so very thankful to be your partners in ministry as we serve our truly great God! My family and I send a heartfelt thank you to each of you for your prayer support, financial support, and gifts and love that you have shown us this past year. We pray that we have been a blessing and an encouragement to all who have crossed our path.
Phillipians  4:17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. I give the year end detailed report, not for our glory (for we are nothing without Christ), but to glorify God who has given the increase, and to encourage you that we are working together for the cause of Christ, that you may see some of the fruit that is added to YOUR account.
This past year we drove over 52,000 miles, saw nearly 20 different states, helped to beautify and remodel 13 churches, were a part of 51 preaching meetings-including 13 special Bible-history-KJV conferences-, conducted/helped in 4 Vacation Bible Schools, built floats to present the Gospel in 2 parades, and stayed busy for God. All of this was for one main priority- to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere we went, and God allowed us to see 181 precious souls trust Christ! We saw many folks rededicate their lives to serving God, and many other decisions made for Him!
We praise God also for fruit that remains. We had the opportunity this year to return to several churches that we had been in previously, and to see folks that had trusted Christ the last time we were there, still attending church, growing in Christ, and being used of God to bring others to know Him as well!
As we look forward to the future, please pray with us for health and safety as we travel, and that God would continue to use us to be a blessing to every person that we meet, and as a witness to the lost. Please pray with my wife Sandy, my daughter Lilly, and me as we strive to be servants of God. Please pray also that God would increase our monthly support so that we may remain full time on the road. May God continue to bless you and your ministry; we are praying for each of you and thank God for you.

OUR NEW TO US "HOME AWAY FROM HOME"
We are so blessed for God to have provided us a "home" to expand our ministry and to allow us to be more available to pastors and churches!

December 12, 2018

Dear Praying Friends,
Psalm 119:27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
2018. What a wonderful year! We are so blessed to be able to sit here now and reflect on the “wondrous things” that God did this past year, and the way that God has blessed the Nehemiah Ministry that He allows my family and I to have.
First, we are thankful that God allowed us to see nearly 100 souls trust Christ as their personal Saviour. What a wonderful Saviour that He is! We were also blessed to be a part of seeing many other decisions made, rededications to God, baptisms, encouraging the saints, and many more. We truly do serve a great God.
My family and I were able to be a part of over 60 different ministries this past year, and are thankful to be used of God. On the Nehemiah part of our ministry, I was able to help a church remodel their auditorium, build a pulpit and communion table for another church, build and install a new church sign, help install new flooring in a pastors home, install several new doors and windows in multiple churches, replace stairs, complete a makeover in a church foyer/entryway, rebuild a deck for an assistant pastor, remodel a bathroom in a parsonage, and several other projects for many different churches. I am thankful that God allows me to use what he has given me to His Glory!
God also blessed us with a “new to us” home away from home. We were offered an amazing deal on a 43 ft fifth wheel camper/trailer with a 2005 Chevy 1 ton dually truck to pull it. After much prayer and counsel, God moved on the hearts of so many folks, and we were able to give a good down payment, and God is still supplying the monthly payment on time, every time. God has allowed my family to be on the road, in this ministry, and it is such a blessing to have this trailer to help out with expense of housing and it also gives us the ability to travel more and farther to try to reach more folks for Christ. Ephesians 3:20, 21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
This past August, we passed the 5 year mile marker in this ministry. In the past 5 years, God has allowed us to see over 600 people trust Christ!
As we look forward to the future, please pray with us for health and safety as we travel, and that God would continue to use us to be a blessing to every person that we meet, and as a witness to the lost. Please pray with my wife Sandy, my daughter Lilly, and me as we strive to be servants of God. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.

Your servants for Christ,

January 23, 2017

Dear Praying Friends,

Another year has come and gone, another year full of serving God and allowing Him to use us to His glory, another year of God’s blessings and His mercies. I am once again humbled at the greatness of God and His goodness to us.

The year 2016 was a very busy year as God opened doors in miraculous ways! We were honored to be in many different meetings, churches, directing/helping in Vacation Bibles Schools, preachers meetings, and on and on. We truly do serve a great God!

For this new year coming up, after much prayer and Godly counsel, we have decided to continue the conferences that my dad started, The Foundation Conferences. We have been asked to continue these with a focus on the King James Bible, using the Antique Bible Collection that God has given us to travel with and to display and share with God’s people!

In the last 12 months, God has allowed our ministry to be used in 45 meetings, see 91 souls trust Christ as their Saviour, 13 following the Lord in Believer’s Baptism, many people rededicating their lives to Christ, and 8 surrendered to full time Christian service. We serve a great God!

Thank you for your prayers for us, your support/love gifts which help enable us to accomplish God’s will for souls to be saved, people built in the faith, and ministries strengthened. God has miraculously met each and every need, physical, monetary, and spiritual. Please continue to pray for Lilly, Sandy, and I, our ministry, safety and health as we travel, and that God would continue to use us to point souls to Him.

Thank You and God bless,

Your servants for Christ,

The Watts Family

Another of the Antique Bibles in the collection is an original printing of the Spanish 1569 Bear Bible, “Biblia del Oso.” It is in GREAT condition and it is our honor to carry and display.

La Biblia, que es, los sacros libros del Vielo y Nuevo Testamento.
Translated by Casiodoro de Reina. 1569.
The earliest complete Bible printed in Castilian Spanish was translated by Casiodoro de Reina (c. 1520-1594) of Seville, who fled the Inquisition in 1557 and preached to Spanish Protestants throughout Europe. Emboldened by the Council of Trent (1545-63), which had endorsed vernacular Bibles, Reina based his translation on the Spanish Old Testament known as the “Ferrara Bible” (1553), the Latin translation by Santi Pagnini (1470-1536), and various Greek sources for the New Testament. Although editions of this Bible continued to appear outside of Spain, it was not until 1790 that the Spanish crown allowed the first Castilian Bible to be printed within Spain. Known as the “Biblia del Oso,” the “Bear Bible” of 1569 derives its nickname from the woodcut on its title page showing a bear retrieving honey from a beehive, a reference to the sweetness of the Lord’s words (Psalm 119). Accompanying the woodcut are the Hebrew and Spanish texts of Isaiah 40:8, “The word of our God shall stand forever.”
